Canva is now available on ChatGPT
ChatGPT plugins keep getting better and not surprisingly there’s plugins for nearly everything. As many workers wonder just what exactly generative AI can do for them and why they should care, this plugin is a big one.
Before we jump in, we want to remind you that while Canva is free, to use ChatGPT with plugins you’ll need a paid subscription so break out that wallet. We get tons of value from our ChatGPT subscription and feel it’s easily worth the $20/month.
Canva has been a very popular tool in many industries and social media platforms for a while now. This Canva ChatGPT plugin is a must for business professionals and students. Have you ever wanted to put in a prompt and get back a nice presentation with some solid topic outlines? Please take a moment, watch this how-to video, and go get your plug-in.
It really is pretty good, although we agreed, this does feel a bit like a natural language interface to Canva with a bit of professional advice mixed in.
Below are our results for a fictional quarterly sales presentation. Chat GPT helped us select a slide template based on what we told it. It then generated a decent outline for us. You could easily use this outline to grab all the data you needed to put this deck together.
Look, you aren’t going to be innovative with this presentation, but it’s going to get the job done and won’t be embarrassing. So job well done by ChatGPT.
If you want something more, however, you should consider reading up on prompt engineering and how to get better results. In this age of generative AI, the better your prompt the better your results. We recommend you head over to our ChatGPT Cheat Sheet article.
Below are our results from the plugin testing.
